I am going to run a half-marathon. Which is insane of me, because I do not run. I do not enjoy running. I am not good at running. But I was thinking of ways to volunteer or do something useful with my time, inspired by The Happiness Project (review coming at some point), and my roommate, who has Crohn's disease, works with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and convinced me to join up with them and help raise money that way. I started a new blog where I'm going to write about how sore I am, mostly, but since it has my real name and will be seen by my family, I don't want them to find this site. If anyone wants the link, let me know, either in a comment or on the book of faces, and I'll get it to you.
Since I'm also working hideous hours, and much of my weekends are being taken over by a long-distance relationshippy thing, that means I'm probably going to fall even more behind in Cannonball Read Jr. I'll try my best to keep up with it, though.

I have the grace of Mr. Potato Head and much the same physical shape. I joined Team In Training in 2008 and again in 2009, ran two half marathons and I can honestly say they were two of the best days of my life (despite the pain, injuries, blisters and chafing).
